Strategy and planning
Developing an organisational strategy can be a daunting task, with a seemingly endless stream of hazy concepts and business jargon. I see the key as asking - and helping to find answers to - three simple (but difficult!) questions:
What outcomes do you want to achieve? (What are the impacts you want to make?)
What actions do you need to take, in order to achieve these outcomes? (What plans do you need?)
How will you tell if you are succeeding in delivering these outcomes? (How will you monitor performance?)
How I can help:
What outcomes do you want to achieve? (What are the impacts you want to make?)
What actions do you need to take, in order to achieve these outcomes? (What plans do you need?)
How will you tell if you are succeeding in delivering these outcomes? (How will you monitor performance?)
How I can help:
- defining, or redefining, strategic goals
- identifying stakeholders
- research and analysis of external and internal environments
- developing business models and funding plans
- preparing annual business plans
- co-ordinating corporate strategy with departmental/HR/IT/marketing plans and budgets.
